[About Yamabir] Yamabir is a land-dwelling leech that lives in various parts of Japan south of Tohoku, and is the only terrestrial leech in mainland Japan as a blood-sucking leech. Originally, Yamabir lives in the mountains, but in recent years, due to changes in the natural environment such as global warming, deer and wild boar, which are blood-sucking sources, have expanded their habitat and have become carriers of Yamabir. It is one of the factors that leads to the further spread of blood-sucking damage to humans. As for the effects on humans, urticaria and fever due to bacterial infection may occur from the wound, and in some areas, cases of allergies due to repeated blood sucking have been reported. We verified the conditions of the implementation method.
