Learn the importance and charm of the local sea!Marine debris cleaning activities and special classes by elementary school students
In the sea, marine pollution caused by plastic waste and a decrease in catch due to overfishing are becoming more serious, and it is said that there are many fish that cannot be eaten when children grow up. Therefore, through the "NEXT Nagasaki ☆ Zero Garbage Project," we started the project with the aim of having children think about the importance and charm of the local sea and creating an opportunity to take action to pass on the sea to the future. In Nagasaki Prefecture this year, at Nagasaki Seido Mikawadai Elementary School, various activities to learn about marine debris problems, starting with the first project "Learning and picking up marine debris problems in Nagasaki" on Monday, June 7th. We will carry out classes.
