BRITA Japan concludes a business cooperation agreement with Osaka Prefecture and Osaka City to realize the "Osaka Blue Ocean Vision"

On October 27, 3rd year of Reiwa, Osaka Prefecture and Osaka City promoted efforts toward the realization of "Osaka Blue Ocean Vision" such as the spread of My Bottle and water supply spots with BRITA Japan Co., Ltd. We have signed a partnership agreement with the aim of promoting the conservation and creation of a healthy environment.
BRITA was born in Germany in 1966, and is now a leading brand of water purifiers that is widely known in more than 60 countries around the world under 17 subsidiaries and 40 partnerships. In Europe, we develop, manufacture and sell not only household water purifiers but also commercial filtration systems.

The agreement ceremony was held in the guest conference room on the 50th floor of the Sakishima Government Building in Osaka Prefecture. Mr. Michael Maggie, President and CEO, and Mr. Yusuke Kinoshita, General Manager of Sales Division, attended.

Based on the "Osaka Blue Ocean Vision" implementation plan formulated in March 1991, Osaka Prefecture and Osaka City have partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders such as residents, businesses, groups such as NPOs, and surrounding local governments. By developing various measures to reduce marine plastic waste and create a favorable water environment, we are working on integrated improvement of the three aspects of economy, society, and environment, and we will take the opportunity of this agreement to make further efforts.
