With the cooperation of Funabashi City, Chiba Prefectural Police Headquarters, and Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, Chiba National Route Office (hereinafter Chiba National Highway Office), the optimal guide method is established mainly for children with many bicycles. Under the mission of "protecting the future of each child, each child protects possibilities", Innoviot Co., Ltd., which is working on traffic safety businesses as part of activities to achieve SDGS, (Headquarters: Chuo -ku, Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture, Representative Director: Fukuda: Fukuda: Fukuda. Hiroya, hereafter, Innoviot, hereinafter, is Professor Hirokazu Akabane, Department of Urban Engineering, Chiba Institute of Technology, Faculty of Creation Engineering, Chiba Institute of Technology, which is working on many research on road traffic safety as an authority in road traffic safety. We will jointly start research on how to guide the bicycle safety route. With the cooperation of Funabashi City, Chiba Prefectural Police Headquarters, and Chiba National Highway Office, we aim to establish optimal guidance methods mainly for children with many bicycle accidents. This study is part of the activities of the Funabashi City Transportation Big Data Visualization Council, and has been adopted by the Chibagin R & D subsidy system 2020. ■ Background Among the traffic accidents during the riding on the bicycle, the percentage of minors's children tends to be high alongside the elderly. According to the Traffic Accident Comprehensive Analysis Center, most of the causes of traffic accidents are carelessly careless and confidential, and that the percentage increases as the age decreases. In such a situation, the need for an environment to be able to run safely by bicycle is increasing, and in particular, the improvement of the safety awareness of bicycle users is urgently needed. In this study, a method of assembling a route that can run safely on a bicycle by using a smartphone for junior high school students, which have a rapid increase in the frequency of bicycle use, and a sudden and effective guide, and a smartphone -mounted sensor. We conduct research on effect evaluation based on detection of deceleration, sudden rotation behavior, etc. ■ Contents This study uses a research smartphone app that provides the route guide of bicycle developed by Innoviot. This app can provide guidance of safety routes to the destination for bicycles on a map, which includes information on the risk point provided by the Chiba Prefectural Police Headquarters and Chiba National Highway Office. This app will be distributed to junior high school students in Funabashi city, and will acquire location information such as sensor values and driving routes related to driving behavior, such as sudden deceleration and sudden turning behavior. The obtained data is analyzed at the Akabane Laboratory of Chiba Institute of Technology and evaluates the effects of bicycle safety routes. In this study, we will find optimal conditions for route guidance and establish a guidance method for bicycle safety routes. Research period: Tuesday, September 1, 2020 ~ ■ This time, we will examine the optimal conditions for route guidance. In the future, we plan to investigate how much the safety route guide for bicycle accidents, which we derived through this study, contributed to the decrease in bicycle accidents, and develop it into social implementation. ■ Innoviot Co., Ltd.
