Twinbird Two new home appliance brands

 Twinbird Industry (Tsubame City, Niigata Prefecture) announced on the 9th that it will launch two new brands for its main home appliances. Created new logos under the names "Takumi Premium" and "Kando Simple". Each one brings a sense of luxury and ease of use to the fore. Rebranding to coincide with the 70th anniversary of its founding is a strategy to promote a new corporate image by developing products that are distinct from existing niche home appliances.

Founded in 1951 as a plating company, the company entered the home appliance manufacturing business about 40 years ago. It has been known for its unique niche products such as shoe dryers and scalp cleaning brushes, but its recognition has remained low compared to major manufacturers.

 Therefore, the company sought to improve its name recognition through products that pursued usability with higher commercial value from a different perspective from niche products. In order to make it concrete, we decided to establish a new brand.

 One of them is the Takumi Premium, a series of high-class routes with the motif of the skills of the leading people in each field called "Takumi". On the other hand, Kando Simple is a brand of easy-to-use home appliances that solve problems in daily life and narrow down the necessary functions. In addition to existing products such as a slim and light cordless stick cleaner, a steam oven range was announced as a new product on the same day.

The range is characterized by simple operability, such as consolidating the menu functions into four cooking modes such as "steaming" and "low temperature cooking". By applying steam from the top and bottom to wrap it up, it can be finished like Seiro-mushi. Asuka Wada, a chef, will be appointed as the first "product ambassador", and we plan to produce and appeal original recipes.

 At the presentation held in Tokyo, the new brand logo and new corporate logo were also presented, incorporating the gold and silver colors that represent the plating at the time of the company's founding.
